Applications are invited for various positions under the multi-institutional network project ‘Human Microbiome Initiative of select endogamous populations of India’ supported by Ministry of Biotechnology, Government of India. This project aims at studying the influence of diet, lifestyle, geography and age on human associated microbes. The focus of the activities at Transdisciplinary University (Bengaluru) and Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune) is study of the association between microbial enterotypes and three distinct Ayurvedic Prakriti types.
The project positions will be at Bengaluru and Pune. The study involves field work and Prakriti assessment of healthy volunteers. The project activities will follow adequate safety measures during data collection. The project staff will be protected with insurance cover.
