The University Library is a nascent with specialized focus on developing multi-disciplinary, multi-format information resources collections providing knowledge and wisdom from various Indian systems of medicine. It is aimed at providing a ‘one stop information’ source related to Indian Medical Heritage. Over the last 25 years, the consistent efforts of the Parent foundation, FRLHT and the University is to procure as many titles and resources as possible to create a unique collections at this library useful for Students, scholars and the research community.

The University Library is a unique repository for over 9000 strong book collection related to Indian Medical heritage that includes such diverse subject areas as Philosophy, Psychology, Conservation, Social Sciences, Science, Flora, Medicinal Plants, Medicine and Health, Pharmacology & therapeutics, Ayurveda, Yoga, Homeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Traditional Remedies, Agriculture, Forestry, Gardening, Veterinary Science, Etc.

 

Presently TDU is looking to expand its collections with multi-disciplinary resources from Biomedicine, Integrative health sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Performing and Fine Arts, Engineering and Management.
