The course is designed for students who are interested in taking up clinical translational research in Ayurveda and Biomedicine.
Candidates from any stream of Biology (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Genomics, Medicine, Agriculture, Bio-Informatics, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Marine Biology, Ayurveda, Biochemistry, and Pharmacy) who are interested in exploring robust innovative evidence-based medicine.

The MSc by Research is a 2 years course with 68 credits, 18 credits are for course work and 50 credits for project work. The course work will include: topics like Transdisciplinary Research Framework, Medical Pluralism (Integrative Medicine Practice), Challenge of integrative health sciences, Statistical methods, Experimental and Clinical pharmacology, Scientific Writing and Reference Management and Ethics in clinical translational Research. While the project work is expected to be focused on specific clinical conditions of national importance, the course work is structured to enable the MSCR aspirant to help fill the above lacunae. Modern biology tools such as exosomes, non-invasive sources of disease biology biomarkers and their cutting-edge 21st century applications to Ayurveda and Integrative medicine practice relevant in the context of diseases in the Indian Sub-continent will be at the front and center of this course.
Proprietary Databases of Ayurveda formulations, Data Science, Informatics, Computer Lab, Ethno-Medicinal Garden with more than 1500 native medicinal plants, Nursery, Laboratories for cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bench -Bed-Bench translational research laboratory, 100-bed hospital, a Disease Biomarkers and an Exosome Research Laboratory.
