“Knowing the Unknown” is a unique one-day orientation program designed by The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology for the school children of Bangalore pursuing their secondary education. From 2015 till date, 750+ students from ten different schools have taken this program.
Objective
To apprise students of the need to conserve plant resources, through an interactive based learning process, and practical demonstration in areas like plant morphology, plant anatomy, biology of DNA life etc.

TDU had a group of visitors comprised of teachers and students from the Francis Parker School, San Diego, on the 17th of March 2018. They were interested in understanding the relevance of Local Health Traditions in the contemporary world.
The nature camp was organized on two days, 7th and 17th April 2018, two batches covering more than 48 students in the age group of 5 to 15 years. The camp took place at TDU campus, CEE campus and JB Kaval Tree Park
This 6-day Summer Camp was jointly conducted by TDU and Centre for Environment Education (CEE), and took place from 16th to 22nd May 2018.
Regional Museum of Natural History Mysore, in collaboration with TDU organized one day program on biodiversity conservation to create awareness among the underprivileged children. This program was organized at TDU Campus on 20th August 2018, with 50 children taking part in the programme.
