About TDU
Social transformation through innovation inspired by Ayurveda, Natural and Social Sciences and Technology.
The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health, Sciences and Technology (TDU) pioneers research in integrative health sciences and technology and fosters a unique ecosystem that bridges traditional wisdom with cutting-edge science.
Two decades of dedicated and pioneering work of the ‘Foundation for Revitalisation of Local Health Traditions (FRLHT)’ during 1993-2013, formed the basis for the Government of Karnataka in 2013, to approve its application to legislate The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology.

Trans-disciplinary research represents a powerful approach that breaks down traditional academic boundaries by weaving together knowledge, methods, and perspectives from multiple disciplines. Unlike conventional research that operates within single fields, trans-disciplinary work creates a unified framework where experts from diverse STEM backgrounds collaborate to address complex challenges facing our world today.
