In keeping with its vision and mission, The University of Trans-disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) has been conducting several work-integrated (vocational) education programmes in both traditional and modern medical practices. These include courses in Panchakarma therapy and training of General Duty Assistants (GDAs); Courses in Hasti Ayurveda, Acupressure (Varmam) skills and ethno-veterinary practices; and training in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).

In addition, TDU have launched programs leading to a Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) degree, as also Diploma and Post-Graduate Diplomas, in multiple sectors of the economy. With the launch of these work-integrated training model inspired by Gandhiji’s Nai-Talim, TDU proposes to greatly expand its offerings in the vocational education space in the coming months and years.

Full-time Apprenticeship / Internship Enabled

Offered in local model in which students apprentice at the premises of industries and businesses at the location where they live.

Learn
Students will spend 5-days a week, 8-hours a day, working and learning on functional and state-of-the-art infrastructure available at their places of work, acquiring practical skills in their chosen domain.

Most students will receive stipends for their work as per the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE)
