Will I be paid a stipend? If not, why not?
The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship provides incentives to companies to pay stipends. However, many companies only start paying stipends once the students have learnt the job and are useful to them, sometimes in the second year of the programme. Why do you say that students of this course highly employable? This programme gives students an edge over their contemporaries in other conventional undergraduate courses such as B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., since they will have three years of work experience by the end of their course which makes them highly employable. Students will also learn in real-life situations, on functional, state-of-the-art, infrastructure available with their employers so they will be well trained.
